General
Are you the best web designer in the UK?
That is for our clients to judge, not us. What we can promise is how we work: a fixed price in writing, two rounds of changes, and a website you own.
Who owns the website?
You do. Your domain, hosting and email are in your name from day one. Once the final invoice is paid, the site and everything we made for it are yours.
How does payment work?
50% deposit when you accept your proposal, and 50% when you've approved the site and it's ready to go live. You get two rounds of changes on the built site. If, after the two rounds of changes, you decide not to go ahead, no balance is due and we keep the 50% deposit.
What if I decide not to go ahead?
If, after the two rounds of changes, you decide not to go ahead, no balance is due and we keep the 50% deposit.
Are there any monthly fees?
Only if you choose one. The website is a one-off price. The maintenance plan is £30 a month, optional, and you can cancel any time. Your domain and hosting are paid directly to the provider, in your name.
Where are you based?
We work with executives and businesses across the UK. Meetings happen as virtual meetings on Google Meet, so you don't need to travel anywhere.
I already have a domain. Is that a problem?
Not at all. It stays in your name, and we point it at your new site.
Executive websites
Why is there a waiting list?
We take on a limited number of new clients each month, so each receives our full attention. Join the waiting list and we'll arrange a virtual meeting when a place becomes available.
Why aren't executive prices shown?
Every executive website is scoped to the person. After our virtual meeting, we quote in writing, so the scope fits you exactly.
How much of my time does it take?
A virtual meeting (please bring your CV), then three check-in calls in your build week: one at the start, one midweek to check progress and any changes, and one to finalise before go-live.
When will my site be live?
Within one week of your go-ahead, once you’ve approved it.
How do you keep things confidential?
We sign a mutual NDA with you, and with your search firm if they introduced us, before we see any detail. Nothing is published until you approve it in writing, and your site never appears in our portfolio unless you ask us to include it.
My employer needs to approve the wording. Is that possible?
Yes. We allow time for an employer or communications team to approve the wording.
Business websites
How long does it take?
Brochure: live within 5 working days. Business: live within 10 working days. Bespoke: live within 3 weeks. The clock starts once we have your deposit and content, and timings depend on how soon you reply.
Is the copy included?
Yes. Every package includes professional copy, developed from a virtual meeting with you, and you approve it before it goes live.
Can you design a logo?
Yes. It's included in Bespoke, and costs £150 with Brochure or Business. You get files ready for your website, social media and print.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. Upgrade from Brochure within 3 months of launch and the £550 you've paid counts towards the new package.
What if I need changes after launch?
If something doesn't work as described in your proposal, tell us within 30 days of launch and we'll fix it free of charge. Further changes are quoted separately.
Can I use photos and text I already have?
Yes. Send them over, and we'll use what works and tell you if anything needs replacing.
What happens if I cancel the maintenance plan?
Your plan stops at the end of the month you've paid for. Your site, domain and accounts stay yours, and nothing is switched off.
Let’s talk about your website.
We only start a few new builds each week. Tell us what you have in mind. A chat on Google Meet with our team. Pick a time that suits you.
